Shelly Malcolm Beazley

Shelly’s hands-on practice is shaped by 30 years of experience working with athletes as well as continuing education courses in Pain Science, Orthopedics, Muscular Imbalances, Intramuscular acupuncture, and soft tissue techniques. Shelly’s practice is greatly influenced by new directions in pain science and includes theory from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.

Shelly is an active Mom to 3 awesome children- Dylan Mae (12), Canon (15), and Marley Drew (30).  Shelly’s hands-on practice is shaped by 30 years of experience working with athletes  as well as continuing education courses in Pain Science, Orthopedics, Muscular Imbalances, Intramuscular acupuncture, and soft tissue techniques. Shelly is the owner of Cove Sport Therapy (EST 2010)s and prides herself in the premium services provided by her team. Our Purpose at Cove Sport Therapy is ‘Wholehealthedness’ and for us this means spending quality time with each client to learn what Whole Health is for them. We put a conscious effort into bringing clients a team of all star therapists who can help you achieve your best life. 

Shelly views mentorship and coaching as the core asset of her business. She is working towards a vision of freedom for herself, her team, and her extended community of health care intra and entrepreneurs. Through empowering individual providers with their own tools for leadership, education,and genuine therapeutic alliances and we can transform the health of our world.

The majority of Shelly’s current practice is as a Physiotherapist with the Canadian Olympic Canoe Kayak Team. Her work with the team on and off the water keeps her busy locally and travelling abroad- most recently as part of the team for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games!

Over her career, Shelly has been a very active member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association, holding such roles as National Division Chair of Sport Physiotherapy Canada. Shelly has been an invited speaker and presented at provincial, national, and international physiotherapy conferences on numerous topics relating to physiotherapy.
