Growing up Nick was involved with a variety of different sports, achieving a provincial championship and national medals in Greco-Roman wrestling. After his wrestling career was completed Nick transitioned to coaching, helping lead the Lockview Dragons team to multiple provincial championships. As of late, Nick has spent his summers playing rugby for the Halifax Rugby Football Club.
Nick’s passion is working with an athletic population, but he has enjoyed working with people from other backgrounds and helping them reach their goals and return to their “sport”. During his education Nick was able to complete the “Choices & Changes: Motivating Healthy Behaviours” workshop. Nick believes that education does not stop and plans on continuing to further his education to progress his skills and to ensure he can help his clients return to everyday life. Nick has received his certification in Mulligan Concept for the Upper Quadrant and is pursing continuing education courses to further progress his knowledge and skills. Nick’s philosophy to physiotherapy is delivering a patient centered care approach by working with the client to give them the tools, support, and guidance to achieve independence with their treatment.
Nick continues to keep active through the week playing any variety of activities through intramural sport and is looking forward on working with you in the future.
