Julie graduated from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in 2014, after completing a degree in Human Kinetics from St. Francis Xavier University. Julie is currently enrolled in her second year of study at the Canadian College of Osteopathy and is grateful for the opportunity to shadow Natalie when possible at Cove Sport.
Passionate to learn and to help others, Julie finds her work as a massage therapist (in osteopathic study) very rewarding. She has completed additional certification focused in treating dysfunctions of the TMJ (jaw). She also has special interest in treating chronic pain conditions, neurological conditions, and sports injuries.
Native of Dartmouth, Julie grew up in a very active family and has competed in various sports throughout her life. She competed at the varsity level with the St. FX Women’s Soccer team, and was a member of the St. FX Rowing team.
Julie is happy to still call Dartmouth home, where she lives with her husband and golden retriever, Dougie.
Julie is a member of the Massage Therapist Association of Nova Scotia (MTANS) and is dedicated to providing effective and safe treatments for her patients.
